The count down continues …

 It’s already May 22^nd   and I am working until 31^st of May and then that’s it. I am still going to work but I feel like I have already stopped to be honest.

 We are leaving London on the 6^th of June. Will it be forever, no one can tell at this point but at the moment it seems this way.

I have 16 more days in London and a last chance to visit my favourite places. It’s time to meet up with friends as I will very soon not have the chance to see them, I want to make the most of my time I have left. As we have recently bought a new camera I will be inserting the occasional picture.

Moving out from London awfully reminds me of 7 years ago when I left Poland. The most difficult thing was leaving all my friends behind. In Krakow I was meeting up with people whenever I was free but since I left to come to the UK we communicate mainly online. I still wish we could meet for a coffee whenever we want just like in the good old times… I feel like I am trapped in a cycle of new cities and new friends. When I arrived in Krakow for study I hardly know anybody and it took me quite some time before I made friends and then I left for London and the same situation occurred and now I am moving to Melbourne… It is such a shame that I cannot take people with me. Meeting new people is exciting but leaving old friends behind not so much. But then again it is great to have friends all over the world. The World seems to be much smaller than it used to be …

I am thinking a lot about how is it going to be in Melbourne. I feel like I am trapped in limbo between London and Melbourne. Even though I am a bit sad and in this melancholy mood I am very excited about my new life in a new country on the other side of the planet.

Today after work we went for walk in London. The weather was great and very warm and for once it wasn’t raining. I took a few pictures. You can see the pictures under the Polish version below.

Moje ostatnie dni w Londynie. Juz 22 maj, a pracuje do 31 i koniec. Jeszcze chodze do pracy, ale jakbym juz nie chodzila. Wylatujemy z Londynu 6 czerwca 2012. Na stale? Na chwile? Raczej do Europy juz nie wrocimy.

Jeszcze 16 dni w Londynie. Czas, zeby ostatni raz odwiedzic moje ulubione miejsca.  Zobaczyc sie z ludzmi,  ktorzy juz niebawem nie beda w zasiegu reki.

Kupilismy nareszcie nowy aparat fotograficzny. Bede mogla zrobic pare ostatnich zdjec Londynu, miejsc ktore lubie, gdzie bywam.

Cala ta wyprowadzka z Londynu bardzo przypomina mi czas 7 lat temu kiedy wyjezdzalam z Polski. Najbardziej zal mi bylo zostawic  ludzi.  Bedac w Krakowie z przyjaciolmi spotykalam sie w kazdej wolnej chwili, a teraz pozostaje nam glownie komunikacje internetowa. Jakby to bylo dobrze moc sie tak po prostu spotkac na kawe, jak za starych dobrych czasow.

Takie kolo. Przyjechalam do Krakowa na studia, nie znajac prawie nikogo. Poznalam naprawde fajnych ludzi, zadomowilam sie i … jak juz tylko poczulam sie jak w domu postanowilam wyjechac do Londynu. A w Anglii … od nowa powtorka z moich przygod krakowskich, ale w zdecydowanie londynskim wykonaniu. A teraz kolejny wyjazd. I od nowa ten sam zal, ze nie moge zabrac ludzi ze soba. Dlaczego moi znajomi nie maja tego samego pomyslu co ja? Wyjechac do Melbourne, sprobowac cos nowego. Zaczac na nowa nowe zycie.

 Duzo mysle o tym jak bedzie wygladalo moje zycie w Melbourne. Teraz  jestem na takim pograniczu, jeszcze w Londynie, ale juz myslami w Melbourne. Towarzyszy mi duzo smutnych, melancholijnych mysli, ale jednak, mimo wszystko, glownie i przede wszystkim ekscytacja i radosc, ze zaczynamy nasze nowe wspolne zycie w nowym miejscu. Nowe miasto, nowy kontynent, nowe przygody.
